She is passionate about empowering rural people to be thriving, healthy and entrepreneurial, in turn creating prosperous rural communities.

Rebel is an advisor and coach to Australia’s leading rural women and workplaces and has 12 years’ experience in community and regional development, consulting, adult education, business development, communication and facilitation.

Rebels’ past and current clients include Rabobank, Local Government, Medibank Community Fund, Mission Australia, Murdi Paaki Regional Enterprise Corporation, Catchment Management Authorities, Centacare, BRW Top 100 companies, RIRDC Rural Women Award winners/runners up as well as dozens of small/medium regionally based businesses.

As an entrepreneur, Rebel is the CEO and director of several businesses, most of which have a national footprint (with expanding international reach), and are managed from an office at Lightning Ridge.

Rebel has qualifications in Business (Governance), Communication, Workplace Training and Assessment, Community Development and Nutrition and Food Coaching.

She is President of the Australian Opal Centre, is a Fellow of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation and is a past member of the NSW Rural Women’s State Advisory Committee.
